We’ve had a great week! We are working on learning all of our letters and the sounds they make. We have also worked on the sight words can and I. Next week we will add the words like and am. Each student will be responsible for reading and writing these words. Each week we will add new words. I will be sending sight word flashcards with your child next week so that you can practice at home.
Don’t forget next Monday is Labor Day and there is no school. Have a great holiday weekend!
Wow! These first couple of days have flown by! We have been working really hard on learning and following our school rules. I sent a “behavior expectations” paper home in your child’s folder yesterday. If you have any questions about that, please let me know. We will continue to practice following these rules for the next couple of weeks. It is very important that every student work on mastering these rules for our learning environment.
Please remember to check your child’s planner and folder every day. Important notes will be in their folder. Please return the planner and folder daily, and please initial the planner.
Thanks for sharing your child with me! We are off to a wonderful beginning of Kindergarten! We are going to have a great year!
If you would like to order your child’s class picture, please have your $10 (cash) to school by tomorrow. Thanks
