EARLY DISMISSAL-PARENT CONFERENCES

There will be an early dismissal for Kdg. – 2nd Grade on Tuesday, October 25.  We will be having our Parent-Teacher Conferences from 11-4.  Your child will  bring home a scheduled appointment for you.  If for some reason you are not able to make it, please call so that we may reschedule.

The kids are doing a great job on learning their sight words.  The words for this 6 weeks are in, to, yes, no, my, we, and the color words.  Please continue to study with them at home.  We have also started taking reading books home.  Please read with your child each night, sign their reading log,  and return the book.  Thanks for all your help.

Kids at Work

Please help your child with their sight words.  This week we worked on is and see.  Next week we will study like and me.  I will be sending home sight word flashcards on Monday.  This will be a fun way for them to learn their new words.  They will be responsible for knowing is, see, I, can, am, the, like, and me for the first 6 week assessment.  They have also been working very hard on their penmanship, numbers, and counting.  They are doing a great job!  Thanks for all your help at home.

Welcome to Kindergarten

I am so excited about starting a new school!   We have already gotten off to a great start!   We have been working very hard on learning our school rules and our classroom expectations.  The kindergarten teachers will be having a parent orientation on Tuesday, September  6, at 5:30.   We encourage you to come.  This is a great opportunity for you to find out our kindergarten expectations, rules, your child’s daily schedule, and for you to ask any questions that you might have.  Hope to see you there!

We are also excited that we have three new students!  They are Gracen, Karlyn, and Gabriel.  We do miss Peyton, Cash, and Camron that left us over Christmas break.  We hope they are doing great!
