We have been working hard in Kindergarten! Your child will be bringing reading books home daily. Please read with your child each night, write down the book they read, initial their reading calendar, and return the next day. They will receive a free personal pan pizza coupon from Pizza Hut at the end of each month for reading. During our Reading lesson will be learning about main characters and the setting of the story. Please continue working on their sight words at home also. So far we have learned AM, CAN, I, LIKE, SEE, WE, GO, AT, ME, ON, & THE. We will be working on color words this week. In Math we will be discussing and comparing measurements and also continue working with numbers. This week in writing we will continue talking about punctuation and capitalization. They are doing a super job!
Wow! I can’t believe it’s already September. We are off to a great start in Kindergarten. The kids have been working so hard to learn and follow the rules. We have had fun with the Gingerbread Man and Pete the Cat. Last week we started learning our sight words, can & I. Our words we are focusing on this week are like & am. We will introduce new sight words each week. Your child will have a baggie tomorrow with their sight words and also a note inside that will help explain how you can help your child at home. Your chid will be responsible for reading and writing all of their sight words. This will help them to be more successful in Reading and Writing. Thanks for all your help at home!

I just wanted to thank everyone for donating school supplies to the Beaumont School. The “Fill the Truck” was a big success at the football game. Our kids were so happy and excited to share their things with other kids in need. It was an awesome learning experience for them! It was very heartwarming to see how thoughtful and giving our kids are. The Beaumont School and their students were very excited and appreciative for everything they received!!! Thanks again!
